I delivered this talk at Smith College in Massachusetts for the Louise W. and Edmund J. Kahn Liberal Arts Institute project for 2002-03, “The Question of Reparations: The U.S. Context.” We are going to post it in four roughly ten-minute segments. This first one is just 8:44. I will be interested to receive your feedback regarding my ideas about the Old Testament origins of U.S. Federal Indian Law, as well as the idea-system of domination, and how reality gets created and maintained by means of thought and behavior. (We corrected a few snafus on the prior audio, which is why we’ve posted this improved version).

Steve, sounds the like the root of what i've learned and deeply appreciate from your book/film/talks of more recent years. The God card, in other words, b/c God said it you gotta obey, has been one of the most persuasive trickeries, preying upon people lacking innate connection with spirituality and how that intertwines with all beings. A true teacher/friend/guide/mentor helps someone find and nourish that rather than extracting the potential. And the excellent observation of 'religion as a disguise for business' is a significant partner in crime of that nefariousness.
Pim, Thanks for chiming in! Over the years from my research and writings realized that the word theofascism is another way to summarize. Faux religion or religion forced onto people, plus Mussolini’s definition of fascism/corporatism (retroactively) as the combination of government and corporation. One example with my [brackets], from “Sir Robert Heath’s Patent 5 Charles 1st; October, 30 1629: Whereas our beloved and faithful subject and servant Sr Robert Heath Knight our Atturney Generall, kindled with a certain laudable and pious desire as well of
enlarging the Christian religion [theo] as our Empoire &
encreasing the Trade & Commerce [corporate] of this
our kingdom[ination] [state].” And i'll look at the links you provided.
