I remember having seen Eucalypto, directied by Mel Gibson (2006) - which struck me as a crafty mix of (bits of) truth and Hollywood, so to speak. It feeds into Hobbesian notions of premodern life being brutal, nasty and short (which it may have been at times). But the ending troubled me more, knowing that those 'saviour ships' were bringing boatloads (and mindsets) of trouble - an insight that is easily overwritten by the moment of relief within the composition.

Yes, in totalitarian times that [“End the Domination System.”] is an apt rallying cry! And I recommend Newcomb's (pre-covid) book "Pagans in a promised Land." Christianizing 'Turtle Island' (the Americas) being a previous Great Reset, in a manner of speaking (and thinking).
